Ultrasonic deep cleaning
We deep clean 12” and 7” vinyl records using ultrasonic technology. Ultrasonic cleaning uses sound waves to create cavitation (vapour-filled) bubbles in a liquid bath and requires no contact with the vinyl during cleaning. An ultrasonic high-frequency pulse dislodges material lodged in the record’s grooves which simple rotation in a water bath, or even wet/vacuum cleaning, would not remove.

For each vinyl record that we clean, we:
Manually remove any heavy surface dust using a velvet brush.
Pre-wash each side of the vinyl using record cleaning fluid and microfibre cloths.
Deep clean and dry the record using an ultrasonic record cleaning machine (URCM). The liquid bath consists of distilled water and specialist cleaning fluid, temperature 25°C – 35°C.
Test-play a section of each side of the record to ensure that cleaning has been successful; repeat the URCM step if not.
Place the clean 12” or 7” vinyl into an anti-static, anti-scratch HPDE plastic inner sleeve.
